Alab worked in a lab as a chemist. Growing up in the Philippines, they wanted to go to medical school and hopefully become a professional organic chemist. However, their dreams were soon taken away when a chemical spill nearby affected their hometown. The spill was so bad, it affected their family's financial status. Their family and them decided to travel with the money they had left, hoping for a better place in Brazil. The school was far from their home, so they often brought their sweater their mother knit for them. There they met Thiago, and Alab was always partnered with him in chemistry. They always found Thiago annoying because he was always getting better grades. Every time Alab would wear their favorite sweater, Thiago would always make fun of them, saying how they looked like a six year old. Alab tried to just move on and reach their dreams of medical school. One day, when Alab was trying to apply for medical school, Thiago took the paperwork Alab worked on for years. Due to this, Alab missed the deadline to apply for the school they wished for. After all these years of constant harassment, Alab decided it was finally time to stick up for themselves.
