can someone explain to me how you see him as an ne dom?? i watched this show thinking he was going to be an ENTP as well, bc that's what he was typed as in uwma, but after watching the first few episodes of between us, i dont see any ne in this dude at all. i would understand ESTP votes more than ENTP votes but even then i still think he's an inferior feeler. inferior ni seems unlikely if we consider his conversation with dean and pruek in ep 4 when discussing how he approaches relationships, win clarifies that he does not consider seeing other people when already invested in someone, and that he doesn't see team as someone to just have sex with. considering the circumstances under which he and team got together, it would be easy for an se-dom to focus on the casual nature of their hook-ups rather than attaching commitment when there is no external push to do so. instead, win naturally decides that being interested in team and pursuing him means being committed, which shows thought and premeditation before he enters realtionships he sees as meaningful. rather than being experientially focused, he seems to filter his se tendencies through ti, leading him to be more purposeful in the relationships he cultivates. on the other hand, win does not show any care in developing relationships that he doesnt consider worth investing himself in. this is seen by how he is viewed by his underclassmen and peers who frequently reference his intimidating and unapproachable aura, which indicates an indifference toward developing a social persona, which is common to tertiary fe users, which rules out both ESTP and ENTP. apart from this, win's "i like how things are" attitude toward his relationship with team is more telling of his aux se, which grounds him in experiential reality rather than the realm of possibilities as would be the case for a dom-ne user. his enneagram 7 could be the reason for his mistype as an ne-dom while also explaining his casual approach to team, who is relatively cold toward him. type 7s are likely to take on more optimistic outlooks on situations, spurring win to continue chasing team without worrying too much about the latter's tendency to avoid and ghost him. apart from this, win shows no signs of using ne as a dominant function, especially not around any of his friends. if it was truly his dominant type, it wouldn't show up only around team. win's interest in team with little to no prior knowledge about him, being able to have conversations with him, and be generally playful or teasing with him do not equate to ne, that is literally just being attracted to someone then realising you vibe with them. shocking, i know. way to out yourself for never being in a relationship guys. as an extroverted cognitive function (do not mistake this with social extroversion), ne would be apparent in his daily interactions outside of those with team (though he doesn't display ne with team either). instead, his conversations are always focused on understanding things through an internal system of thought and rationality, including the feelings of those around him as well as his own. rather than considering the different possibilities his feelings for team could mean, he reveals that he never even stopped to consider his feelings in the first place, and that he simply enjoyed hanging out with team and wanted to continue doing so. his friends had to be like "hey, maybe you're, idk, in love or smthn???" for him to even THINK that was a possibility. sounds like a ti-dom whose inf-fe looks to social groups to assure them of their own feelings, not an ne-dom.
