WARNING: Manga spoilers. Buckle up as this will ruffle some feathers and it’s a long one. Now when I first watched ep 1, I thought hmmmm he gives off either ENFJ OR INTJ vibes but after finishing the ep as well as reading the whole manga; he 10000000% gives INFJ vibes and here’s why; In the manga from the moment we meet him, Suo has this calm, mysterious, and reserved energy. Suo is also softly spoken with everyone even with the opposing team but you see the sarcasm. He is also very mature, wise, and philosophical for his age and this is shown In his fight with Kanuma in the Shishitoren battle. He talks through the fight and advises Kanuma that in order to become an adult, we must have empathy and without empathy installed we lack the ability to put ourselves or see ourselves in other peoples shoes.Poetic justice king. He is able to instantly recognise people's emotions and feelings before others do. In the manga after the fight with KEEL, Suo was quick to recognise and immediately sensed a shift in Nieri's body language even though it wasn’t visible to others. Suo acknowledged and understood Nieri’s desire and capabilities of wanting to get stronger to support Sakura and the team. He becomes a mentor to Nieri and trains him after Nieri has opened up wanting to be by Sakura's side and become stronger to help Sakura reach the top. Suo is extremely loyal and supportive wanting to help Sakura reach the top and helps Sakura understand that people want to be friends with him and he should rely on them. He recommends Sakura to be class president. One part that people often forget about INFJ’s is that we can be manipulative (in a good way). As a feeling type, we are naturally empathetic and very intuitive and as we possess deep empathy, this can be imposed as manipulation. INFJ's are able to read and see through a person's layers (the face they show to people and the face of who they truly are). In this sense, we often manipulate others in a way of achieving the “greater good” for that person or for a cause. From the moment we have met Suo he is able to manipulate both Sakura and Sugishita into getting along, shaking hands many times and getting them to work together as a team. He also is able to manipulate Sugishita by advising him that Umemiya would be upset if Sugishita doesn’t come and help a class mate in the fight against KEEL. Suo is incredibly kind but he is ruthless to people who are assholes or cruel and cannot stand by the injustice. When he saw how Nieri got beat up in the KEEL arc, he snapped and went into a ruthless, cold, and scary mode where the only thing to stop him from beating the guy more was when Sakura stopped him. You can see in his eyes and body language when Sakura stopped him from beating the guy, the “why did you stop me” and tells him isn’t Sakura angry at what they are doing. This proves that Suo gets very emotional when he sees what happened to Nieri resulting in losing control. INFJ’s tend to be very patient and to see the cold side of them is very foreign to people. In the manga, you can see that people are shocked to see Suo get emotional or cold. When INFJ anger comes out, it gets bad and ugly real fast. The one thing that I am curious to see if it happens is the INFJ door slam. Overall, he is one of the most mysterious characters in the manga in my opinion. I can’t wait to learn more about him and his backstory. I could go on and on but I got too tired writing this.
