I can see why people are saying 8, but I actually think she’s a 1. If she were doing the experiment as a means of asserting her power and making sure she was sufficiently respected, then I would say she was an 8 (obviously not all 8s are going to do this). Here’s the thing, though: I think she genuinely believes in what she’s doing. I think she’s trying to perfect the world and mold it to her internal standards. Not only that, but she stops taking care of herself when she doesn’t meet those harsh internal standards. To me, this signifies the core motivations of a 1, not an 8.
