I think many people base their votes for this profile on Rei's portrayal in the 90s anime. On the other hand, some might assume she must be an E8 in the *Crystal* seasons simply because she is an E8 in the 90s version. This is a rather flawed approach, as there are distinct differences between the two adaptations, and these differences clearly extend to the characters. Therefore, please do not vote on this profile without watching the *Crystal* seasons. Since *Crystal* is a faithful adaptation of the manga, it contains far fewer filler episodes than the 90s anime. You will notice that Rei—or rather, her manga counterpart—is a more introverted, reserved, and quiet character; I believe this strongly contradicts the E8 type, making E1 a much more logical choice.
