I'm on episode 3 right now but I'm pretty sure that he is ISTJ, I can agree that he indeed has Te-Fi axis in the middle but I don't see any Ni as his dominant function. All of his decision was always about the succes of the mission and maintaining the procedure. He never had any suspicions about their mission and what's the thing they need to take back, all he cares about was only to complete the mission. He also doesn't believe the main character until he sees it himself. Wether it's about the radiation or the death of the copilot. And all I can remember he always believe in what is factual, he never considers probability or the main character's analysis about the thing that stole the sample. So that it is, I will finish the series and comeback again to make sure that he is ISTJ or INTJ. But if somehow he show the evidence of Ni even when he never showed it in the first 3 episodes then it must be the inconsistent writing of the character. Feel free to tell me about your argument about his Ni or it's example. And one last thing, if he were INTJ maybe all of his decisions will be different than the ones that he decided.
