I believe this girl runs on Si rather than Ni, and here's my humble 'why': Her 'book' – a comically all-including tome – represents the collection of her own knowledge and others' past experiences that she heavily relies on. Thanks to this ‘baggage of facts’, Susato is the one who suggests to restore Summation Examination despite everyone laughing at this being something obsolete. She doesn't come up with a new solution – she draws the technique from the history of the law like a seasoned expert. In many cross- and evidence examinations Susato often brings Ryu's thinking down to reality whenever it gets too out of the box – and she does it by pointing out the facts she, again, recites from her reference-book. She also seems baffled by Holmes and Ryunosuke's discussion about 'forgetting important things/numbers' in Drebber's room, and points at her tome saying that all it takes is just to make a note in the right place. The book is, in a way, also the embodiment of the sensors’ habit to jot things down (compared to intuits’ usual reliance on mental notes). At some point, she also confesses to having a strong urge to 'dismantle' any machine she sees to check out how it works. According to her, even her own father gave up on buying a watch because she apparently pried the thing open all the time. Her fascination with the exhibition is explained exactly with this same Si-typical interest for the invented structures rather than the fascination with their 'potential'. Si-stereotypical as it is, traditions and rules mean a lot to her. She keeps on brewing tea the Japanese way in Britain, keeps her Japanese clothes (..but okay, that was probably just for the game’s aesthetics), is often the first one to warn the Ne and Se folks about any wrong/risky endeavors. Her relationship with the 'no women in the Japanese courtroom' rule is also interesting because she just.. politely abides by it in both first cases of the games? I admit she didn't exactly have a chance to rebel with her friends' futures at stakes but she definitely had room to express more frustration in DGS2-1 pre- and post-trial. Yet, her friend voiced more critique about the rule while Susato just rolled with [SPOILER] temporary cross-dressing in a 'that's how things are' manner. This even made me question why she took up such a doomed job at all if she wasn’t passionate about changing things, but the later reveal about her becoming an assistant to support Kazuma’s aspirations was somehow fitting. Now, this is going to be an even less popular opinion here but I'm not sure I can see much of Susato’s Te and can't say her Fi is any sort of "blinding" (Gina's sure is). Her Fe is quite impressive, though – it’s actually Ryunosuke's crutch for the first 2-3 cases, while he's still adapting to his new role and environment. Susato strides into London with common communication 'templates' to greet people, make small talks, accept invitations, make introductions, etc. Everything that Ryunosuke's weak Fe doesn't allow him to do at the start, she does for him, with ease. And by the end of the game, [Spoiler-kun] laughs at both her and Ryunosuke, saying that they both are too bound by the shackles of common etiquette. Her dedication to group harmony is evident in most communications: she consistently tries to make everyone feel comfortable and appreciated. Even if she does make Ryunosuke the butt of the joke sometimes, she finds a graceful way to smooth things over, ensuring he's not offended. The moment in DGS2-4, when she let her father and Holmes go without an explanation to a very important topic for her, saying that they “should enjoy their adventure first” also showed her strong Fe. Her attitude to Holmes itself is full of Si-Fe imo: he's her established authority, absorbed from the books, so even when her Tert Ti finds the flaws in his deductions and arguments, she starts suggesting them in a highly respectful, careful Fe-driven way. She also has too many 'puppy eyes' moments for a Te-aux, as she’s seen commenting on others' tragic situations. It's just my conjecture, of course, but also I think her "Oh, poor X-san" exclamations are closer to sympathy (Fe) than empathy (Fi) since the people she expresses pity for are all drastically different strangers and are hence difficult to strongly relate to. Lastly, Susato is basically the all-round emotional support for Ryunosuke throughout the duology. Especially closer to the end of DGS2, almost all of her consulting comments are replaced by cheering words of encouragement: "I believe in you", "You can do it", "I’m here with you", and the like. Just providing this support isn’t exclusive for Fe-users but Susato [SPOILER] signs up for this job from there on out because supporting Ryunosuke and seeing his appreciation makes her feel rewarded and fulfilled. Which, to me, sounds closer to Fe-aux than to Te-aux + Fi-tert, no matter the ennea.
