Osobowość

"Jaki typ osobowości jest {profilename}? {profilename} jest typem osobowości {mbti} w mbti, {enneagram} - {iv} - {tritype} w enneagram, {big5} w Big 5, {sociionics} in Socionics."

I think his Ni is pretty clear. I think the main topic of debate was his Fe, as his skepticism of religion, especially racketeering, superstitious televangelists and sham magician/illusionists, all of whom he has challenged thoroughly. For instance, as a talented illusionist and magician himself, he uses such abilities for what he perceives to be good and honest by demonstrating how he performs them. He is very open about the methods and manipulations they use, but avoids using people as things in themselves for opportunistic gain. I think more than anything that is Ni-Ti working together to form a conclusion guided by Fe. His Fe also is apparent in his showmanship and ability to play with the audience's expectations. Often times, such in his hour-long special "The Apocalypse", Brown uses stoic wisdom by picking out an individual, a young man with a history of indolence and lack of reverence toward others, and throws him in the midst of a deftly-staged meteor crash headed for Earth. To make this convincing, he used the aid of media platforms and experts to create realistic news programs and stories on the young man's phone to add to the atmosphere of unrest. The main idea is one of negative visualization: meditating on what could go wrong and how you would ideally react to those scenarios. Throughout the special, Brown aims to improve the man in three main areas: taking action, kindness and willingness to sacrifice; all very Platonic, archetypal ideas of "the good". Through his guidance and oversight, he successfully makes him improve immensely on all three areas, and the young man goes onto live a considerably better, more impactful life afterward. As for his enneagram, I'm still a bit at a loss. At first, I got 5w4 impressions due to the often cerebral, psychologically-intense nature of his shows. However, he admitted that he partially learned magic tricks in order to impress others, which sounds kind of 3-esque. However, he could also be a 4w3 with a 5 fix. In his book "Happy" (2016) he goes intensively deep into how philosophy and the wisdom of thinkers both contemporary and ancient, can impart some insight on how to live a good life. He draws from a plethora of schools of thought, from stoicism, Platonism, existentialism, to psychology and literature. I was surprised at his breadth of references, especially for a book which I presumed, on somewhat false pretenses, to be solely about happiness. Either way, I think this is connected to his strong Ni-Ti, as he looks for quietism in meditative practices and patterns underlain in all these different ideas.
