For me personally, definitely one of the most intriguing characters, especially as his story originates outside of Winden MBTI —> Oh god, okay, here goes; perhaps I’m fucked up for drawing these parallels, but I think his ISTP leadership is comparable to the signature ISTP leader, Vladimir Putin - instead of having an established agenda based on recognized patterns, he was more adaptive to circumstances as they came, using Ti-Se to have a knowledgeable adaptability in transferring the nuclear material barrels so as to maintain the lie surrounding the 1986 nuclear accident —> I don’t know if tertiary Ni reasonably accounts for this or not - like, perhaps it’s more of an inferior Fe thing - but I think the haunted paranoia nature of how tertiary Ni afflicts ISXPs manifested in his (accidentally) bloody hands from Marburg and the murder, like it really unsettles him, the repercussions of his past catching up with him —> Otherwise, his inferior Fe seems somewhat rounded out by the time he’s a bit older, such as his goodness to his family and generally polite demeanor, but then inferior Fe comes to be more of a problem when he gets a little in over his head with his political power as the plant’s director ENNEAGRAM —> I think there’s a lot of interesting comparisons that come out in Season 1’s interactions between Aleksander (ISTP 8w9) and Ulrich (ESTP 8w7) given how fairly cognitively similarly they are, sister type MBTI types and similar Enneagrams —> Ulrich is more outwardly abrasive and angry as per his “Maverick” nature with Wing 7 as well as having extraverted functions as dominant and tertiary, whereas Aleksander is more resigned in his anger as a “Bear” with Wing 9, channeling it into his authority, whether it be with Wöeller or even Jürgen Obendorf in the beginning with his threatening dialogue about the different between those who are successful and those that are not —> He’s good “family man” nature can come through as a manifestation into 2 integration, especially as far as Regina is concerned, but then more disintegrative 5 secrecy rocks him, ESPECIALLY when Inspektor Clausen starts breathing down his neck PERSONAL THOUGHTS —> I know that Aleskander is pretty flawed as an outlaw who hasn’t really come to terms with the skeletons in his closest, but his dedication to his family is truly something to admire, like he gave Regina a MUCH BETTER life as she was the subject of bullying and self-esteem issues that was deliberately fed into by her mother when Claudia herself was still immature with her dominant Te —> I’ll touch upon this more when I get to Clausen’s profile, but yeah, one of the most genuinely engaging and interesting plot threads of Season 2 was how Aleksander’s criminal caught up with him - it was a tense rivalry between two characters that began outside of Winden, sort of a fun “side quest” story if you will —> I know Alt-Aleksander has his own personality profile (as an ENFJ?), but it might be too much unnecessary busywork for me to go over that too - ultimately, Alt-Noah’s story retreaded a lot of the same character plots, other than Regina having already died. Thank you.
