Ok!! so i recently found out one of the actual accurate desc of si from another user on here. it stated that si is a function in which assigns special, personal meaning to an everyday object or thing (making it special to them in some sort of way) and i think this describes their relationship with work + padpa pretty well. Rutile is stated to have became a doctor for their own personal reason of fixing padparadscha, essentially adding their own hidden meaning to it behind just being a doctor as needed. and with when padpa gave them their fragment during the raid: they clung on to it because of it’s meaning and how they were still attached to padpa, clinging onto it as if it were them.
