put barnacle boy and squidward side by side you can just see how squidward is not an ISTJ. barnacle boy is more willing to clarify his thought process to others through Te. i just watched mermaid man and barnacle boy II again and it’s just so obvious, barnacle boy is first inwardly irrational with Si and then outwardly rational with Te. squidward is first inwardly rational with Fi and then outwardly irrational with Se. (irrational meaning a posteriori and rational meaning a priori). it’s so hard to just. explain since squidward is just an unhealthy ISFP case but i wish so bad i could transfer my brain patterns to other people so my understanding of this doesnt get lost through language.
