Aux-Te and 6 enneagram is an absolutely ruthless combination, I can attest to that. The anxiety and unease that comes with the emotional processing of 6s existing in tandem with the concrete information hungry nature of Te can make for an extremely paranoid and outwardly reactive or even destructive individual. I think the anxiety expressed with Liam towards his long-standing relationship can resonate with many IXTJs, especially those with a 6 enneagram. It's gut-wrenching to finally place your trust and admiration in a partner only to have the hard, factual evidence of their inauthenticity presented right before you, and for Ni-doms, I feel like we have a tendency to have high expectations for romantic partners, and thus tend to think immensely highly of them in turn. I understand a lot of this is conjecture though and comes from my own observations and what makes sense to me, so please feel free to disagree.
