(pt.3) -VERY superstitious (much more than the average Middle Ages person). There are many examples of him minding signs and symbols, but the most serious is when in 1484 he failed to respond to a series of Ottoman attacks likely because a couple of very strange weather phenomena occurred and an accidental fire burned down Putna (a monastery himself had founded), which he interpreted as signs his retaliation will be defeated. Also tended to believe prophecies. (N more likely than S, F than T) -Very religious and very concerned with the spiritual. In that time and in the dire situation of the country it wasn't unusual for someone strongly believe in God, pray and fast often, but his attitude was above average. (See all the monasteries he founded: one for each battle he wanted to commemorate, and he did it for around half of his battles - which were up to 48 by some sources.) (suggests F, but not necessarily) Types that are worth considering: INFP, ENFP, INFJ, ENFJ and ISFP. E is more likely than I. The best fit seems to me ENFP, solid cases could also be made for E & I NFJ, but he seems more like a Te user rather than a Fe one.
Biografia
Ştefan III Muşat of Moldavia, known as Ștefan cel Mare (Stephen the Great), born in 1433/4 or 1438/9, died on 2 July 1504, was Voivode (Prince) of Moldavia from 1457 to 1504. National hero and one of the most notable Romanian historical figures, he ruled Moldavia through a crisis period when, on top of the Tatar threat in the East and tensions with Poland in the North and Hungary in the West, the Ottoman Empire became the major threat to its independence, leading several failed invasion campaigns. Ştefan proved to be an astute politician, avoiding some of the threats through diplomacy, and also a great strategist, winning battles even when considerably outnumbered. He not only successfully defended Moldavia's position and independence for 47 years, but his reign was a period of stability and cultural development. After the Romanian Orthodox Church canonized him in 1992, he is venerated as "Stephen the Great and Holy" (Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt).
