All those shamanic figures, him reflecting on his past and direction in life moving forward.. It’s eerily in line with what Ni is. People rarely mention how important the past is to Ni — it’s not just an Si thing! It’s just that with Ni, the images of the past are abstract, vague and symbolic, broken down to the deeply subjective experience (the “vibes”) felt at the time. And that is so beautifully depicted here in this scene..
Biografia
Mugen is one of the three main characters of Samurai Champloo. This trio - comprised of Fuu, Jin and Mugen - are on a quest to locate "the samurai who smells of sunflowers." Mugen himself serves as a foil to Jin in terms of personality and disposition. His fighting style is characterized as being reckless and erratic.
