[Edited: here's some of Shiro's lines] "Korann, I'm sorry things didn't go as planned, but we can't focus on what went wrong, we've got to figure out how to make it right." "You're as anxious as me." "There must be more to this than we're seeing." "[...]And now we must move forward in their names, and shine that light onto a new path for future generations." "I don't like it, we should be gathering intelligence, not diving into a fight without knowing why." "(To Keith) Is everything okay? You just seem a bit... anxious" "(To Korann) Are you sure this is right? There must be something we're missing." "You know how important this is to me, it's worth the risk. You don't need to protect me, this is something I need to do for myself." "There must be something more to this, I can feel it. We should wait." "Everyone go to your lions but don't launch. We'll wait to see what this thing does, I don't wanna risk fighting it if we don't have to." "Show me more." "Did I really die in the game? That doesn't make any sense! the mice aren't playing the game." "All right. Since Zarkon has no idea where we are, this is a perfect time to focus on our next step." "I know how you feel, but you need to step aside for a while. It's what's best for everyone." "Until we figure out exactly how he's (Zarkon) doing it, we should assume that he could show up at any minute. So, stay alert." "They've been searching us from galaxy to galaxy, the last thing they expect is for us to come after them." (This time when Keith left the team for a Blade Of Marmora's mission) "They're probably on a mission. I knew this would happen sooner or later." "We'll never be able to find him (Lotor) until we can figure out his plan, we're totally missing the big picture." I think these scream INFJ (at least most of them) -- Shiro is very logical and rational at making decisions, but also very caring and understanding of others feelings, constantly seeking for social harmony, (aux Fe and tert Ti) which makes him a great leader. His inf Se is interesting because it's very well developed, as he's very aware of his surroundings (I mean, they're in the middle of the war, it's understandable that his experiences made him develop this function) but not at the point of jumping into action without thinking and planning first and pre- visualizing the consequences (Ni+Ti). In the firsts seasons, he's constantly (anxious) thinking about the idea of beating Zarkon. Still, he sometimes manages to live in the present and be spontaneous, he lets himself have fun with his team (inferior Se, sometimes confusing his team bc he's not usually that spontaneous and childish) and distracts from the stress and anxiety. Another good example of his inferior Se is in ep 10 s1, when he says that striking where Zarkon lives, being unprepared, would be a huge mistake, but then something goes wrong and he "losts" Allura in the space base,, and he proceeds to completely ignore his Ni+Ti thoughts and immediately brings Voltron to Zarkon's ship to rescue her without doubting, listening to his inferior Se for a Fe motive (inferior functions commonly activate during stressful times) And about his Ni, that's a bit more difficult to explain because he doesn't explicitly show much Ne or Ni, but I definitely see more Ni. He's guided by the idea of achieving this goal of winning war and restoring the peace for the future of universe, he's very determined about succeeding and accomplishing that single goal. He's constantly planning every single step but not losing sight of the bigger picture. We can also see him strongly pursuing his goal of going to the Kerberos mission, even when having a disease, saying that it's worth the risk and that it's something he has to do for himself. He's stubborn about this (typical INFJ) and Adam gets mad at him. I also see Ni in how he quickly sees potential in Keith, a very good potential that could lead to greatness in future *if* Keith compromises and develops it also with some self discipline. Again, he's very determined and doesn't give up on Keith because he knows what he's capable of and cares deeply for him. Shiro is very good at reading people's emotions, (Ni-Fe) he easily notices changes in his team's behaviours, like when Keith acts a bit irritated and Shiro quickly assumes (notices) he's anxious. Same thing he does with Pidge in the first episodes. So yeah, this is my interpretation and analysis, INFJ is my choice but I'm open to more suggestions! edit 2* wowthankyouIthoughtiwasgonnabeignored
Biografia
Officially titled the Guardian Spirit of the Sky, Shiro is the pilot of the Black Lion and leader of the Defenders of the Universe. He was a star pilot in the Galaxy Garrison before he, along with Pidge's father and brother, were abducted by a Galra ship on Kerberos. Shiro later became known as "Champion" after he was forced into gladiatorial combat and defeated a feared Galra warrior; he subsequently had his right arm replaced with a Galra cybernetic that can both power up Galra technology and serve as his melee weapon. Shiro escaped Galra custody and returned to Earth, where he joined his unlikely future teammates. Shiro is the most level-headed and responsible of the five pilots, and despite suffering amnesia and PTSD after escaping the Galra, he remains quite perceptive. As the pilot of the Black Lion, he has access to the most powerful weaponry out of all the Lions. He forms the head of Voltron but initially does not have access to his Bayard as it has gone missing. Instead, he uses his Galra-tech arm
