A big reason why I think he fits more into ISTP rather than INTJ is because of how aware he is of his current surroundings. He actively observes and scans whatever's going on at the moment, and reacts to present stimuli as he sees it [prominent SE] Remember that part where he came back to seal out the hole in the river? Usually Ni doms ---because they are hyperaware of possibilities, likelihood and efficiency; and the fact that D3r was already aware he was being followed beforehand--- he already would've blocked off the entrance the first time he came out of the hole; and that's what he DIDN'T do. [Ni tertiary > Ni dominant] [Ti usage] He seems to follow his own curiosity more during the entire run. He sought truth over his own uncertainty as he's expressed; "Im not scared but my gut says to keep moving" "Maybe I am scared". In the library he even read someone's manuscript that warned him not to dig deeper. [disregarding Fe, in order to satisfy Ti] Overall throughout his gameplay, he's always had a practical and realistic outlook that helped him find quick solutions on the spot; turning his gamemode to peaceful, "Im not scared of a game", "Unfortunately for you, I have a pickaxe" [SE prominence, again] (i might come back and polish this, just wanted to point these out.)
