This one, to me, is one of the best ISTJ characters, with a great type maturity. I'm seeing INTJ voters rising up, but the only argument I see for Ni is his "metaphorical" talking style... This could be Ni, but if we evaluate all Neji's life, Si is his main process. Neji sizes reality by how he experienced it. His perception of world comes from his subjective experiences. Dominant N-types hardly accept reality as it is, they see it as changeable, wishing to transform it, they reshape their perception. Neji, on the other hand, sees reality as immutable. Your future and present is the same of the past. He focus on the background world of sensations, which is how Jung describes Si-doms. I don't like to focus on the unhealthy state of the character, but he doesn't seem mentally unstable, he just seems hopeless. Neji was a heavy close minded person that learns from Naruto to be more flexible and open to new perspectives (Ne-inf maturity). His new personal experience with Naruto makes he perceives reality with more optimistic eyes. He has a strong sense of duty and healthy respect for Hyuga traditions, still using his own experiences to guide his observations and decisions... he became a healthy ISTJ, not an INTJ in my opinion 🙂
