I just watched her chapters again and I'm pretty sure she's an INTJ. Her obsession with rocks seems quite Ni and isn't only based on the physical aspects of rocks, in "Maud's couple" we can see how she studies rocks from more complicated concepts, So complicated as to try to find a connection pattern between being a rock and being a stick. She has a high intuition, in the chapter "Pinkie's party cannon" Pinky mentions a thing called "Mau sense" somehow Maud will "just know" where things will end, she probably processes it in a Ni / Se way and so she couldn't just say why she knows. She also seems to have much more Se than Si, her sensory analysis is completely objective not subjective and not only when is related to rocks, she even has a higher Se than her Fi (actually she isn't always true to what she really wants) We can see the Se when she walks with Fluttershy or when she saves Pinkie Pie destroying a rock, she has a good relationship with her environment, doesn't have the characteristics of Si. I think the reason why she talks so "objectively" about rocks is a result of the Te/Se combo, many are confusing Si (a subjective function) with being extremely literal and speaking facts (That's more a Te thing).
