I agree that Comic Book Guy and Frink are both INTPs, but this site has their Enneagrams mixed up. INTP 5w4s tend to be more interested in abstract, philosophical, or artistic topics. Comic Book Guy reflects this Enneagram through his obsession with mythology, science fiction, and fantasy. He isn't interested in understanding real-life systems of any kind, he instead explores life's meaning meaning through works of speculative fiction across various mediums. Frink, on the other hand, is more of a 5w6 in that he indeed understands and even applies knowledge of several established systems (science/mathematics/engineering) to incredible effect. While their cognitive functions remain the same, the way those cognitive functions manifest is extremely different, hence the different Enneagrams: CBG's focus on exploring the abstract and seeking deeper meaning through works of fiction has turned him into a reclusive man who is lost in his own imagination and deep, detailed knowledge of the fiction he enjoys. Frink's focus on understanding various science and engineering disciplines and exploring and pushing the limits of these systems has resulted in countless advanced technologies seen throughout the series, almost all of which have practically pushed the Simpsons into science fiction territory whenever Frink or his inventions appeared. Therefore, Comic Book Guy is a 5w4 and Professor Frink is a 5w6.
