I can understand Raz using Ti but, to me, it seems like his “search to grow/gain knowledge” comes from Fi. The whole reason Psychonauts even started was from his strong Fi. Raz escapes the circus because of his strong desire to become a psychonaut; you could say the whole premise is Raz “following his dreams” and pushing against the world to achieve it. He’s always talking about becoming a psychonaut and he’s willing to do a whole lot for it— that’d include expanding his knowledge on the psychonauts and trying to learn everything he can about them. Raz also has a huge sense of duty-like justice… a part of it could be from the fact that he’s trying to emulate the psychonauts and their obligation to “keep peace around the world”. You could argue that’s Ti/Fe at work but again, I feel like Raz’s aspirations trump that; after all he WANTS to be them and as a goal. To me, Fi is the explanation and basis for this Ti/Fe-like behaviour. Also, like another person mentioned: Raz could be using a well developed Te. Te just serves his Fi. Definitely, I can see the ENTP-ness of Raz but he seems too focused on his own values and goals. Raz always trying to learn everything about the psychonauts could be interpreted as him learning for the sake of his goals. I guess that’s where the Ne comes in. Te, as well, in the sense that this means he values “tribal facts/opinions” about a subject (psychonauts) over his own built ones. He’s kinda learning about things objectively, if you will, and not to form his own opinions/frameworks but to benefit his dreams.
