Hmmm...right, firstly, what? Secondly, what? Finally, w--Ah, I believe I have identified the root cause of what I have a problem with here. Everything. I disagree with it all. I can understand the confusion if someone just watched the anime. In that case, please do read the light novel. Her goal of reigning supreme over Class A encapsulates ego-vanity. Where is ego-vengeance, you ask? The answer is nowhere. Why? Because she isn't 8 core. SP 8 because she is a "girlboss" and because of her seemingly self-absorbed attitude? What? She isn't a 5 because she views people as animals to be tamed? GalaxyStrider, what? I see the argument for core 8 revolving primarily around how she is focused on maintaining her power in school. However, people somehow fail to understand that the SO 3 is more focused on this than the SP 8. Her obsession with holding the spotlight. Her obsession with overthrowing Katsuragi to reign over Class A single-handedly. Her self-pride. Her interest in "influencing" people (manipulating them into doing what she wants via psychological warfare). Her obsession with being recognized for her work, meticulously designing her plans so that it's just obvious enough she's the mastermind behind them but not too obvious to not appear as daring and idiotic as Ryuuen. How she positions herself so that she is always in clear view of everyone so that she can constantly bask in their praise, especially when her plans succeed and she looks out ominously at the chaos that ensues wherever she goes. Her simmering rage, barely contained under the surface, radiating out of the pages as you read. Her ability to absolutely ruin Katsuragi's life and goals during the summer festival without even needing to participate herself all the while resting in a chair with a sadistic smile on her face. Every single one of her characteristics sets my ego-go alarm off. Her angry outbursts. Her relentlessness when it comes to pursuing success. Her bluntness and to-the-point attitude (in the case of her first interaction with Ayanokoji), deciding to never waste time on politeness (unless she can use it in psychological warfare to catch her opponent off-guard). Her constant pokerface and coldness, appearing amused yet emotionless at the same time, occasionally interspersed with a light sprinkling of violent, uncontrollable rage. It's all SO 3. Her ability to rapidly ascend the social ranks in Class A despite having a severe handicap that she is likely to be bullied for is a feat only a SO 3 can execute as effectively as she did. Her dedication towards her goals regardless of whether they'll benefit her is absolutely SO 3. Her decision to sacrifice a lot of her own materials to defeat Katsuragi for the sole purpose of winning is SO 3 over SP 8. SP 8 would be much more interested in the potential material gain they could get out of winning against Katsuragi. A SO 3 would win for the sake of winning, which is precisely what Sakayanagi did. She analyzed Katsuragi and determined that allowing him to continue on unscathed would be detrimental to her plans. I have a hard time believing anything is more SO 3 than the content in this paragraph. Her ability to hide her competitiveness and aggressive attitude under a kind exterior is SO 3. Her decision to take over Class A because she thinks that Katsuragi can't lead properly and that she could do a better job is SO 3. Her focus on image and how people view her is SO 3. When attempting to differentiate between the SO 3 and the SP 8 focus less on their surface-level goals and more on how they go about achieving these; focus on answering the "why" and the "how" behind their goals. Should Beatrice Chestnut ever read Classroom of the Elite she'd be shocked and appalled that she didn't use Sakayanagi as an example of SO 3 in her description of the subtype. And what is this EIE typing? Fe-base? Arisu? Her eagerness to step up to the task of leading Class A after determining that Katsuragi wasn't an effective leader. Her constant formality when it comes to social interaction. Her aforementioned to-the-point manner of speaking. It all strongly indicates Te-base. Her reasoning behind sacrificing her own gain in the moment to also weaken Katsuragi during the summer festival in volume 5 of the light novel was oriented entirely around how Katsuragi would stand in the way of her future plans and ignored the sacrifices that would need to be made in the moment. Her enraged outbursts are primarily caused by the incompetence of others, which is a factor that she cannot manage. It all indicates Ni-ego and absolutely gamma. Her entire character encapsulates the gamma quadra. It would appear that many of you have been convinced by her external persona she has put on to get people to follow her. Read the light novel. Her character is gamma quadra personified. Gamma incarnate, if you will. Conclusion: - so/sp 3-core 358 - LIE-1Ni | Subtypes could be balanced (0)
