The most terrifying part of the whole Outlast series is the ending of Whistleblower. Park gets out alive and plans on uploading the video files. So the special agent looking guy tells him what kind of limit he's about to cross. He says this: "... corporal paranoics with resources you're too moral to imagine" Even after the horrific events, extreme violence and gore the protagonist and we, as players have gone through, we are still too moral and innocent to conceptualize what these people are capable of. That is utterly blood-freezing. It is even worse if we think of how much of the game's content could be going on in the real world on a daily basis, somewhere far from our eyes.
Biografia
The Player Character of the main game. Miles is a Freelance Investigative Journalist summoned to Mount Massive Asylum after receiving an email from Waylon Park (the main character in Outlast Whistleblower) about some suspicious activity going on in the Asylum. Equipped with only a camcorder, Miles enters the building and quickly discovers something more sinister is going on.
