I’ve been really unsure of whether he is a SX8 or a SO3 but I do believe he is a SO3. Despite him representing the sin of lust and it being a core part of his character, I overall think SO3 is a better fit for his motivations. His attraction to Ann and desire for control comes second to, or perhaps it would be better to say is caused by, his overwhelming need for recognition. He is a talented athlete past his prime still clinging to his need for success and uses his position to try and fill what he feels is slipping away. It is of utmost importance for him to be the most respected figure in the school, and he sabotages anything he deems to be a threat to this position. While it is undeniable that he does have (disgusting) feelings towards Ann, he wants her by his side primarily as another trophy due to her being a model and a foreigner as he believes this would contribute to his image of greatness. I believe he is mainly driven by a fear of inadequacy and fading into obsoleteness and this manifests as a dominating, controlling personality who has convinced himself both his former successes and his reputation at Shujin mean he is owed things in life.
