Maybe the character does a complete 180 later in the series but I‘m midway through season 2 and he definitely doesn’t seem to be very driven by fe. Glassman makes it very clear that he isn’t a surgeon because he wants to care for his patients but rather because he believes he is a good surgeon. He is driven mad by his cancer because he fears he wont be valued if he isn’t smart anymore. He has a conversation with shaun about what happens if he suffers permanent damage from his surgery. And shaun says to him that he would still be his friend and glassman say that isn’t enough and if he cant do the thing hes good at his life is not worth living. Also he just kinda acts like an asshole with everyone around him. Si dom fits pretty well very concerned with rules doesn’t seem to like change all that much etc. And just because he really cares for shaun doesn’t mean he has high fe ISTJs and INTJs who have blindspot fe still can care immensely for the people around them. They just sometimes act like they know whats best for someone even though they never spoke with them about it.(which he does with shaun all the time I would say its a Te thing rather than an Fe thing)
Biografia
Dr. Aaron Glassman, M.D., is the former president and a surgeon at St. Bonaventure Hospital. He acts as a fatherly figure to Dr. Shaun Murphy, having known him since he was a young teenager. He cares very deeply about Shaun, even to the point where Shaun feels suffocated by it. Glassman is shown to be lonely, due to his wife and kids having left him. While their reason for leaving is a bit unclear, it was presumably because he spent so much time on work and caring for his patients.
