Action video game characters are predominantly typed as ISTP because the gameplay loops of these games are basically simplifications of the definitions of Se and Ti - physical improvisation usually under intense fire. I think Aiden Pearce is a product of this automatic ISTP typing a lot of video game protagonists get lumped into.
