I'm convinced Anna is either an ISFP or INTJ. The four functions shared by the Gamma quadra in socionics are clearly present, and I'd argue she leads with an introverted function because of how subjective her understanding of the world reveals itself to be. Fi-Te axis seems clear because of how personal and intense her emotional response to the dissolution of her marriage is. Furthermore, Te seems to be motivating her to take action desperately needed via Anna's Fi experience. It's as if Anna has come to the very personal realization that her marriage has gone completely sour, so her Te has eventually kicked into gear and taken action. (Anna moving out, adultering, etc.) Ni-Se is also very clear to me. Anna has come to an irreversible understanding of the nature of her marriage, of the world, and of herself. Anna's monologues are insanely evocative of Ni; her seemingly 'outlandish' ramblings about faith/chance/evil/success are seemingly mustered from a personally intuited path of ideas. Additionally, Se is present in her experiential indulgences. (Namely, sexual indulgences.) The argument for ISFP would posit that Anna is maybe in a grip, overly extending underdeveloped Ni to make rash conclusions about why her life is the way it is. The argument for INTJ posits that Anna's actions are closer to clockwork than you might think: she has spent so much time in her dominant Ni space, where she has come to intuited conclusions about why she is unhappy. She uses Te to have her Ni understandings executed. (Sidenote: the kitchen scene that is beautifully pictured on this page's pfp is the perfect showcase of "Te face." She doesn't consider Mark's emotions and just goes on with her day because of what she 'needs to do' or what she 'can/can't do.') What do you think?
