Fuck peta. They’re a bunch of self righteous hypocrites that use shock content and guilt tripping (which is EXTREMELY insensitive to many viewers) to get people into doing animal rights activism. They have no consideration for economic function or circumstance (capitalism is what causes most animal suffering in the meat industry and is also the reason many people can’t afford to be vegan) and have this mindless extremist mentality. I’m convinced it’s full of a bunch of unconscious, fringe cult members with how unmindfully and uneducated they operate. They preach empathy and understanding when they have none for lower income communities or the actual economic circumstance that lets masses of animals suffer at all. They also don’t know what actual animal abuse is in many cases. Having a pet isn’t abuse so long as you treat it well and make sure all it’s needs are met. They’re also ableist? They told someone who had epilepsy and needed a service dog that it was “slavery.” WTF??? If you wanna make change PETA, drop the shock content and guilt tripping. Do some research and join the fight to combat capitalism or encourage animal rights and veganism in a positive, conscious, and understanding way that isn’t insulting people for not being able to cut such a big food source out of their lives.
