Just watched this movie recently for only the 2nd time since its release, and I'm realizing I need to watch it more often!! XD On Hannah, I'm not *entirely* sure on her type, but the current typing of xSTJ feels very off. I don't see hugely strong Si or Te drives in her. She's constantly poking fun at Tom's rule systems and encouraging him to live more freely - not something that tends to be a huge focus/proponent of ESTJs or ISTJs, both of whom do see more value in things like rule systems - typically tried and true/more established ones at that. Hannah seems much more F (values, not **feelings**) driven versus T driven - we see her guide her own behavior and critique others through her value systems, not through what she has rationalized to be the most efficient (more Te) or logically consistent (more Ti). I would lean toward her being more Fi than Fe, since she seems to have no problem critiquing others when she feels they have crossed a decided value for her. (e.g. in the store with Tom when she engages with the clerk: "Is this real baby alligator?" "Yes, ma'm!" "You should be ashamed of yourself." and then again with her new fiance's family at the dinner table, you can see how certain things cause her stress when they clash with her Fi values (like Colin's hunting and some of the family's traditions). Where Colin (likely more Fe-Si) is trying to keep things smooth and adhere to family expectations and traditions, Hannah is much less hesitant or subdued about indicating her feelings to the contrary (more Fi over Fe). I don't think she's ExFP - her values appear most prominent (Fi), and I don't see Se or Ne drives trumping that. I don't see a lot of Ne in general, so I lean toward ISFP for her. I feel like this Fi-Se also fits Tom's anecdote about her obsessing over a painting once because she said the painting captured the essence of the subject more than any photograph (again, this does not seem to fit with the strong Si drives of xSTJs, though of course that doesn't mean xSTJs can't appreciate art), and she wondered if she could ever meet "someone who made her feel as passionate as that work of art." That core aspect and core dream of hers feels much more IxFP, possibly ISFP in some ways (though again, I'm not fully certain on her type and I worry ISFP feels a little cliche...the current typing of xSTJ just does not seem right). In the conversation at the church, she can't name really *any* details about Colin that she loves. I know in part this is supposed to call out how brief their romance has been, but it's also not very characteristic of any type with Si dom or aux (like ISTJ or ESTJ). Those with Si dom or aux typically would have an almost difficult time not being able to name details, since strong Si tends to so automatically collect details like that. (My ISFJ sister has mentioned how when she walks into a room, her mind automatically logs numerous tiny details about the layout, etc., that she can accurately recall later.) Hannah, instead, is at a total loss - unable to name really anything specific about Colin. This comports more with what I see in her generally which is more Se over Si. I feel like her Se aux fits very well with her and Tom's adventures around the city, too. Tom's playful accusation that Hannah is an "'I love you' ****" and her incredibly impulsive decision to marry Colin and move to Scotland within a few weeks' time also both go *strongly* against an xSTJ typing - those kinds of things are not typically strong components of those types at *all*. Not totally unheard of for sure, but with everything else you see of Hannah in the movie, it just adds to why I think likely not xSTJ, and likely more like ISFP. I'm open to and curious about other thoughts, too, but the current xSTJ just felt off for her given what I'd just watched.
