Openness means "a tiny bit more extraverted, emotional, disorganized, expressive, sad, and very much complex/creative" while a lack of Openness would indicate "a tiny bit more introverted, emotionless, organized, inexpressive, happy, and very much simple/non complex and anti-intellectual". Despite Conscientiousness being the mostly organized aspect of personality, Emotionality/Neuroticism being the mostly Sad/happy aspect of personality, and Extraversion being the mostly Expressive/Social aspect of personality, Openness has traits and aspects in a minor key that actually go together with Emotionality and Extraversion, and against Conscientiousness, both Creative and Intellect, such that more often than not despite being separate personality dimensions, they do correlate or anti-correlate in a majority of cases. In the highest levels of intellectuality aspect of Openness, there is a loss of Conscientiousness and a gain of Introversion, which runs counter to the general trend, but there is more emotional expressivity because it runs together with Emotionality, too. In the highest levels of creativity aspect of Openness, there is a loss of Conscientiousness and a gain of Extraversion and more emotional expressivity. The adjectives are like a factor analysis in reverse. These adjectives were mashed together and called Openness in a "factor analysis" where they mapped entire adjectives to define separate aspect of personality when they notice that by synonym, some aspects tend to cluster in people more than not. Naming all the adjectives that could apply is like doing it in reverse. More Openness and more Conscientiousness has general positive evaluations in human language, but not entirely. Though more Openness is valued, they can also be evaluated by others as absent minded and distracted.
