he's not SX6 and even LESS a SX4. enneagram is centered around this little thing called NEUROSIS, and it seems like you guys forgot about it. no, he's not envious of the farmer. he sees them as competition. and plus, jealousy doesn't make someone an E4 and even less a SX4, because guess what? that is an inherently human trait and not strictly related to an enneagram type!. E4 is even more absurd when we point out that these showcases of jealousy aren't neurotic but behavioral, and yeah, behavior≠neurosis. the SX6 concensus seems to come from the fact that he is an ISTP, so it went more like "he's ISTP and not a SX4 so I'm going with SX6 because he's angry and stuff" so, going to his actual type: SP3. we all know what an SP3 is so I'm not going to indulge in definitions. first of all, the entirity of march character is centered around: -being the best blacksmith in town -collecting awards and prizes for being the best like they're pokemon cards -being extremely proud of his achievements but never satisfied with the ones he already has, he wants to be better and keep on winning. -he is jealous of the farmer because, as the newcomer, is getting all the attention and recognition that was once his. these walls of fake Toughness and bragging of his achievements is the most typical trait of SP3, he hides behind his prizes to hide the insecurity that the farmer made rise in him: the fear of losing recognition. however, as the E3 countertype, his way of bragging his achievements isn't flamboyant but sober. he's mulish, stubborn and kind of rough, to compensate for this insecurity.
