I just started re-reading the manga and I can see his Ne a bit more. He literally abandons everything he has known as a grim reaper for possibilities “but what would happen after death? What if I add more memories onto the records?” He doesn’t really say it as what if but it seems to be that kind of Ne-Si process where a possibility pops up in his head and he starts to collect data to confirm that possibility to then have a subjective impression on wether it fits his masterpiece or not (hence why they tend to come out differently each time). I also noticed how he sees objects in subjective impressions as well (Si) for example the weird locket thing he carried with him in the ship, he never actually referred to the object itself (Se) but his own impression of it (he calls it his treasure instead).
