Why Ti-Fe? His character is STRONGLY motivated his values and just speaks his mind on what he believes is right or wrong, he never holds his tongue to just to keep the peace. He spent the entire first movie trying to get his friends off the island simply because he wanted to go home and wasn't willing to accept a strange new location, like everyone else eventually learned to do with their pack ethics mentality. In his mind, that place wasn't right for them, and they belonged to be back home in the zoo. Sure, he enjoys the attention of being a performer, and starts off social status driven, but his authenticity and sense of self have always very prominent with his character, and is established further throughout the series. As for Ti vs Te, he shows no Ti. Every thinking based decision he makes relies on external data and proven concept, we've never seen him rely on internal logical consistency or be particularly skeptical of a generally accepted and reliable source of information. He simply goes with proven methods and seemingly reliable data. I think people are confusing his Fi skepticism and the concept of Ti skepticism, but Alex is not motivated by what makes sense to him from an emotionally detached standpoint, his internal judgement process is incredibly driven by emotion and values. His emotionally removed logic however is a showing of extroverted thinking, since it's objective, productivity based, and not reliant on an introverted logical framework. The Lady Liberty scene is a shining example of a theoretical Se-Te loop, with Alex ruthlessly building a structure based on the knowledge that he had: Lady Liberty is at the dock -> Ships see Lady Liberty and see the dock -> If I build Lady Liberty people will come -> I need to build Lady Liberty -> Here is how to do it. I'm aware that I'm referencing just the first movie, but his character is quite consistent throughout the series. Fi-Te seems like a far better fit than Ti-Fe, especially how his character is very "feel first, think second". ESFP. Edit: I actually have to disagree with one thing that I said, in that Alex "shows no Ti". He actually does demonstrate Ti occasionally, but it's certainly not in an auxiliary position.
Biografia
Alex (born Alakay) is an African lion and the protagonist of the series. Alex is headstrong, protective and self-proclaimed leader of his friends. He is best friends with Marty (Zebra). He is used to the life of comfort in the zoo, but learns to adapt to the wild. He is smart, quick thinking and fast on his feet. He is a dancer by nature, often impressing others with his aerobatic feats. He does tend to be a little self-absorbed, often not seeing the problems of others above his own.
