Se is all over the place -- he indulges in physical things, he likes to drink, he parties, he is impulsive, he is a person of action. I'm not saying Ne users can't be like that (of course they can), but there's no sign of Ne. Logan being a "secret genius" does not mean he is an ENTP. It not only dismisses how smart ESTPs can be, but it's still not a sign of Ne. Ne doesn't mean being smart, it means constantly thinking of new possibilities and ideas, random thoughts that somehow can be connected and one leads to another... Lorelai's an Ne-dom user and that's way clearer and different than with Logan, because she actually uses Ne. His fast-pacing, careless lifestyle is purely based on living in the present moment, enjoying the here and now, and of course his 7 core in the Enneagram will make him want to explore, enjoy things and be lazier towards more serious things, like his job. I saw a comment saying that because he told Rory digital merch would be the next big thing and wanted to jump on digital spaces he would be an ENTP, but that's not Ne either... it's even closer to Ni, which is something ESTPs has (even though it's the inferior function). He is not thinking "what if this happens? I could jump on it! What if it works? What if it's the next big thing?", he is sure of that, it's an instinct of what WILL happen, it's not a wonder or "what if?" Ne-like idea exploration.
