Besides the fact that I want, just once, for any villain in fiction to be anything but INTJ, I do think Leonard is a definite ISTP. I’ve only recently rewatched season 1, but I think people are getting the INTJ vibes from his calculating demeanor that is so often successful in crime. He is a planner, but I still think it’s quite evident he does things the “Perceiver” way. For example, an obvious INTJ such as Eobard Thawne has a carefully laid out chessboard. He knows every detail of how he wants his plan and the timeline to unfold, and is obviously paranoid about it falling apart (constantly checking the article from the future, easily frustrated when the pieces don’t fall into place). Snart does plan, just not with such inflexible outcomes. The INTJ way is more of a long-term planning, while the ISTP has short-term plans. The INTJ functions just don’t add up for Leonard anyway. I mean c’mon, Fi? This man is a stereotypical Fe-inferior. He sometimes has an inclination to fulfill the wishes of others and can be surprisingly capable of compromising. His Se is so obvious too (very quick on his feet, takes in a lot of energy from high-stress situations), but he’s not extroverted nor energetic enough to have it as dominant. (That Ti-Se really is a wonderful thing.) Love my introverted thinking gang. On top of all this, Snart also gives me big Geralt of Rivia vibes. Cool disposition, yet doesn’t take life too seriously, dropping sarcasm and wit wherever he goes. He lives for the thrill.
