Katniss Everdeen (also known as the Mockingjay) is the main character of the Hunger Games series. She volunteers in the 74th Hunger Games as a tribute for the District 12 to replace her sister, Prim. After winning the game, Katniss becomes the symbol of the resistance against the Capitol. In the movie adaption, she is portrayed by Jennifer Lawrence.
