1/5 Here is my explanation why Ches (Chive) is a clear sx2 and not sp9 or sp7. To begin with, it is possible to see (especially from S2E3 and S2E5) that Ches actually struggles with pride (and not with sloth or gluttony). He is very self-focused, believes he is really special, even god-like, often creates image of the great seducer that has to be admired to fulfill his ego (to many girls, authority figures such as Pole and Glam himself) through flattery, optimism and efforts to help both in simple and extraordinary way. If he doesn't receive proper, in his opinion, attention back, he gets frustrated easily and shows out-of-place aggression. Ches is very focused on to be loved and love others (including in the sexual way) as soon as it doesn't hurt his exaggerated ego. I agree that Ches is lazier than Glam, but Ches' personality isn't really based on indolence (neither mental or the physical one), and his chilliness isn't a sign of it (as you will see below). Also, Ches doesn't struggle much with gluttony either, his hedonism and luck of shame are actually features of sx2 (as you will see below). Furthermore, trait structure of sx2 seems to fit Ches much better than trait structures of either sp9 or sp7. Starting with the way he critisized pop music and rap in the rude way, explosively explained why bell should not being ringed in Q&A, continuing with intensively scolding Glam when he noticed his mother, when Glam resisted to go away with his guitar and when Glam showed off his skills towards playing Bach music, finishing with his arrogant selfish behavior towards Mickey, Pole and bandmates. Ches usually finds it difficult to ask other people for help in the simple polite way. The single least intence case of this was the way how he used ridiculous Spanish lines to ask Lordy to wait for Glam, in the majority of cases Ches either ended up shamelessly stealing things (such as guitars and related things) even without any attempts to reach an agreement with owners, or seductively invading personal space of others in somewhat pushing way (literally the way he got familiar with Glam and furtherly spoke to him, the way he talked with professors in conservatory). Inappropriate invasiveness of Ches is also seen in the moment when he speaks with Lydia and when it was mentioned he got inside of Glam's house through the window instead of door, the way he simply put his feet on the table without any hesitation, the way he sat in too relaxed way on the chair in the same conservatory next to Glam, the moment when he went to adult metal club which was obviously forbidden for him and Glam. "HYPERSENSITIVE" The total majority of Ches aggression and invasiveness cases unites one thing - the relatevely effortless way they were triggered, like few confused words from Glam or innocent questions from MF fans. Since Ches perceives himself as a sort of divine, elevetated from others being at least in just mental level, any, even the smallest doubts towards his own beliefs and values are met with high frustration, often quite open and straightforward, without delay and immidiate. Chive is so sensitive to the objects he likes such as his first guitar or cherry donuts, that he feels insulted just by an adequate request from Glam to try play on Ches' musical instrument (moreover, there are sketches where Ches literally dates woth his own guitar) or feels highly annoyed when someone interprets song "Smell like cherry" as a love song about girl and not piece of food. Chive usually meets any kinds of confrontation radically, with ultimate emotionally dramatical protection of his desires and goals with little diplomacy and compromise. For example, Mickey's request to write more lyrical love songs are met with too harsh protective response, however, not having enough toughness to pursue his will like an E8 or sx6, Ches still superficially agrees (moreover, for his sake of short self-sacrafasing to be even more loved in the future) but still keeps his ego in the high check. The similar situation happened with Pole's offer to form a new band - Ches arrogantly and rudely refuses the offer, but soon enough still recieves a card and makes a call later. Chive is definitely a definition of thin-skinned character.
