This is an INFJ/IEI. This is not the INTJ. What everyone who has voted so far is picking up on, is the Ni. Many INTJ voters here probably don’t understand the full depth of personality theory, cognitive functions, any of that. I can assure you he’s also not a type 1. Many INFJ/IEIs just look like this. It’s not because of enneagram though, type 1 isn’t congruent with the INFJ. Rather, he’s So4, Sx5, or Sp6; those work just fine. I really believe him to be Sx5>So4 though, 5w4 of course. I’d even feel obligated to say he’s even more FeNi than he would be NiTe. The debates should be between INFJ or ENFJ at most. So7 > So2 would make some sense here. Even then, I do feel he is an Ni dom. Even the way they describe him is “ethereal”, having an “ethereal beauty”; this is not usually how you’d describe NiTe. Instead NiFe, the IEI-Ni subtype especially, is defined as this: “IEI-Ni. Calm, dreamy, observing. Quite passive. Romantic in the soul. Tries to avoid bad emotions. Optimistic, modest, elegant, sophisticated”. This is much more in alignment with his character. It’s a good idea & really quite helpful to know the differences between the two Ni doms; the INTJ and INFJ. INFJs (IEI), they are Te PoLR in socionics theory, whereas the INTJ (ILI) is Fe PoLR. Fe PoLR “manifests in the total inability to say things just to be nice or to manipulate people's emotions”. An INTJ will not care for sparing your feelings, he will not be nice just to be nice. Truth & objective criteria is MUCH more important to them. To the point they can be rather cold & dismissive of your feelings altogether. This makes it look like they don’t care about the way you feel at all. (And this is by no means slander; some INTJs are better with this than others, but this is something that should persist in all of them to really be able to call them an actual INTJ (or ISTJ since they are also Fe PoLR)). Whereas with the INFJ, being emotionally attuned to others is one of their greatest skills. Essentially, the INTJ is not a soft type when it comes to social interaction. They will tell you like it is. The INFJ otherwise, is much softer. They’re much more catering to other people’s feelings & know how to work around them. They’re also the types to be more cold & logical when they’re alone, since the Fe is expressed socially. That doesn’t mean they still don’t care about people though. It typically isn’t being used the same way when they aren’t being expressive; when they aren’t around people. They’re also typically not a social doomer type. They’re optimists, even if it’s in a melancholy way. They’re the types to take something like death and still see it in a different light. They’ll find beauty in whatever darkness it is, hoping for better future outcomes (Ni), or a more beautiful reality.
