I think psychology is somewhere between INFJ and INTJ. I wanted to study neuropsychology or cognitive science because I had interest in humans, wanted to know how their thoughts/process made and wanted to distinguish how illnesses made/affects in brain so doctors can fix it later. But I had no interest in counselling.. I didn't want to listen to other's hard feelings and help them. I rather wanted to figure out their process of feelings. But there is counselling psychology and counsellers may have empathy. So... it's hard to conclude cos there's so many branches in here. But INFJ is the closest, I think.
