Kashumir grew up working as a mercenary to buy medicine for her younger stepsister, Arya. On her way home, after completing a mission as usual, she falls and hits her head, causing her to remember her past life; thus, she realizes she has been reborn in the world of the novel, *Fairy Night*. Her sister was the main character in this reverse romance while also being one of the villains who caused Arya to suffer hardships. Since there is no way Kashumir can allow her precious sister to suffer, she vows to protect Arya until she adopts her into the Count's family, just as in the novel. But things don't go as planned, and even the leading male candidates, who should have been fish in Arya's pond, end up becoming obsessed with Kashumir instead, when all she wanted was to protect her beautiful sister.
