Hilda Furacão is a 1998 Brazilian miniseries written by Glória Perez, based on Roberto Drummond's book, starring Ana Paula Arósio in the title role. A real life story inspired this great production, still remembered during the 1950s, Hilda Huracán was the most desired prostitute in Belo Horizonte. Daughter of a middle-class family, Hilda scandalized those who knew her by running away on the day of her marriage and hiding among prostitutes. At the same time, in the small town of Santana dos Ferros, three inseparable friends live but with different aspirations. Maltus wants to be a Dominican friar, Roberto Drummond is a revolutionary communist and Aramel dreams of making it in Hollywood.
