I also thought ISFJ for a while because his Fe seems higher than INTP's inferior Fe, but in season 2 I think it becomes clear that he's just learned the rules of politeness out of a desire to fit in and seem normal. It's why he's so passive and avoidant of conflict in Season 1, because he knows that once the rules of what is allowed change, so will he. In season 2 he becomes obsessive with finding a cure for his wife, putting it up above her mental sanity. It's clear he cares more about solving the problem than he does any people. His Ti is more evident and his Fe is definitely inferior. He solves social issues by following an internal set of logical rules, and he is terrible at picking up emotional cues from others and seeing what is really causing the social issues.
