Alfred Fouillée, born on 18th October 1838 in La Pouëze (Maine-et-Loire) and died on 16th July 1912 [1] in Lyon, is a French philosopher. He is the author of a civil law adage: "He who says contractual, says right" and is at the origin of the metaphysical notion of "idée-force".
