Max Goodwin tipo de personalidade mbti
Personalidade
"Que tipo de personalidade é Max Goodwin? Max Goodwin é um tipo de personalidade ENFP em mbti, 2w1 - so/sx - 217 em enneagram, SCUAI em Big 5, LSI em sociônicos."
He's the greatest ENFP there is, oh god, I have no doubts. Literally an ENFP Textbook ➥ Ne: Max likes to explore ideas and has a very keen external perception of how to explore them. He is extremely attracted to different ways of looking at things. He “throws” ideas into the air without much commitment to verifying that they are plausible to actually apply. Ni types can also look at several different points, but will not externalize them until they are fully joined and finalized; they are gradually moving towards a single vision or comprehensive solution, which Max definitely does not. Most of the time, he finds it difficult to align it to a common point, until he reaches the end of the episodes, where he can better “shape” his ideas and apply them. Max also has a big indecision problem, he wants to do everything and everything he can, he hesitates to make permanent decisions, especially if he's not sure if they are really good decisions, which may be a result of his lower Si. “There are a few things you should know about the new medical director. Uh, one, he is radical... so radical that he turned a failing clinic in Chinatown into one of the most efficient medical units in the city. Two, he won awards for his radical treatment of women with Zika in Guatemala. Three... there's north of $100 million in this room ripe for the picking. And you know where Dr. Goodwin is? With his patients. A medical director who's more interested in helping the sick than raising money? I'd pony up for that.” - Georgia. ➥ Fi: Georgia's speech in the 'Anthropocene' sums up Max's thoughts and values very well. He prioritizes judging through independent values. He runs the hospital with his “heart” and not his mind, hoping to change the hospital system by judging what he sees as necessary for change, and often forgets the needs of the collective. This is very noticeable when he decides to do something about climate change without consulting other employees. When Lauren tells Max that her idea is unpleasant and bothers employees in the workplace, he understands that he needs to take a look at it from a collective perspective. Thus, he “forces” the entire hospital to adopt what it deems necessary, without literally pleasing anyone. Max rejects any kind of offer of money to do what he wants and make the hospital better on his own terms. Some situations also let slip how much he prioritizes Fi>Te, for example, when a police officer dies in the middle of surgery, he blames Floyd for what happened without looking for evidence, as he simply couldn't stand the fact that that hospital couldn't saving all lives (a principle that is definitely very strong for him), and this also happens when he asks Floyd to keep his sister's transplanted heart in a patient, because he wouldn't want to see his sister's heart "dying" again. He changes his mind later. *If Max had Fe, he would be more aware of human relationships and how certain issues affect work, especially when it involves sexism and racism (which he turns out to be very insipient in most episodes). He doesn't have much sense of this until he's really interested in committing to the problem for himself or through personal experience (Fi).
Biografia
Dr. Maximus "Max" Goodwin is the main protagonist on New Amsterdam. He arrives at New Amsterdam Medical Center, having been appointed by the Dean as the new Medical Director, with hopes to strengthen the hospital's reputation and increase efficiency. Despite fears of his marriage breaking down, and the fact that his wife, Georgia Goodwin, was pregnant, Max accepted Dean Fulton's job offer to be Medical Director of New Amsterdam Medical Center. Whilst Max was aware of the current situation of New Amsterdam, he did not quite appreciate the struggle it was going through. When he assumed control, he decided to overhaul the hospital greatly, and one of his first acts as Medical Director was to fire all of the current department heads, and promote new ones — this was based on the observation that the current heads placed profit above patient health. This move was controversial, however it gained him great support with those newly promoted to head of department.
