I’m trying so hard but I CANNOT see 2w3. Maddie’s moral convictions, uptightness, and idealistic viewpoints make her a 1w2. She is also very opinionated and decisive, as well as critical, judgemental, and very sarcastic. An example of her strong, absolute opinions is when she thought that all rich people were selfish (also auxiliary Si making her form opinions based on experiences) or that astrology and horoscopes were stupid. Maddie leads with a gut enneagram, focused on anger (1w2), as opposed to a heart enneagram, focused on pride (2w3). Nowhere in the show do I see Maddie being people-pleasing or priding herself on her attractiveness or likability. However, I do see Maddie priding herself on her strong morals (due to being raised Catholic) and her intelligence. In fact, it is very common of Type 1s to feel as if they are the only smart, competent person in the room, which fits Maddie to a T. She wants things to be perfect and just right, and is unhappy with her low paycheck and her poverty, but has gotten used to it. She is also very adamant and determined. Furthermore, her integration to 7 allows her to be more relaxed, playful, witty, and good-natured, so I think that she’s just a healthy 1. However, there are times where you can DEFINITELY see her unhealthy 1 superiority complex come out, like when she couldn’t take her anger anymore and called out everyone in London’s book club (to deal with their anger, 1s repress it until then eventually explode, and we see that with Maddie many times in the show, not just in that book club episode). Also, her w2 makes her more outward reaching and willing to help others, which might be why people confuse her for a 2. Now, onto her tritype, I don’t see a 9 anywhere in it for gut fix (she doesn’t at all deny her anger, doesn’t have problems with laziness, and isn’t often willing to go along with other’s plans or submit to them) Since I think she’s a 1. I do, however, see 6 and 2, so for her tritype, I’d go with 162 or 126. I could also see 3 in her tritype (136 or 163), since she is focused on academic achievements, good grades like all As, and scholastic success, but who knows. This was a long comment but I just had to get that off my chest lol, if you’re reading this, you’ve made it to the end of my comment so congrats 👏 What do you guys think about her typing?
