I understand why she was typed as ISFJ because she has a very nice/shy/caring vibe during the movie and is a very traditional 50s teenage girl. But imo she is clearly an ESFJ. Indeed, the only reason she is being shy is because she is in love with Marty and that's how the majority of people act when they love someone. An ISFJ would have hidden his feelings but, on the contrary, Lorraine shows them and tries everything to be liked by Marty which embodies more, for me, the use of Fe as a main function. She is also very extraverted, having a lot of friend and always fits in or wants to fit in as we can see when she drinks and smokes because that's what teenagers do when they are 18 years old, which is for me another example of Fe being her main function.

Lorraine Baines McFly is the mother of Dave, Linda and Marty McFly and the wife of George McFly. Lorraine liked the attention of boys when she was in school, and lots of them were attracted to her, including both George McFly and Biff Tannen. Lorraine was not afraid to get what she wanted and often parked in cars with them. Lorraine could stand up for herself and the people she cared about, yet despite this she liked her men to be strong and able to protect her. Portrayed by Lea Thompson.
