Dan (Danplan) tipo de personalidade mbti
Personalidade
"Que tipo de personalidade é Dan (Danplan)? Dan (Danplan) é um tipo de personalidade ENTJ em mbti, 3w2 - so/sp - em enneagram, em Big 5, LIE em sociônicos."
*SOCIONICS POST* My main source for typing Dan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDGVbiaiJ2M&t=1s What really, REALLY stands out about Dan is his complete disregard and inability to comprehend relationships with others, specifically Stephen and Jay. He doesn't realize why they have an issue with him and his actions. He his very cynical about their motives, interpreting Stephen as just in it for the money when Stephen asks to be paid what he believes he is worth for the channel. He is completely incapable of seeing things from another person's perspective. His offer to let Stephen set up his own channel comes off as insulting when I don't think it was meant to be that way (to be clear, I interpret this conflict as a misunderstanding, and don't think there are any bad motives on either side, they are just coming from a different perspective). I think 1d Fi is pretty obvious for Dan (this also makes ENFJ unlikely, but as I said I'm focusing on Socionics for this.) Second, Dan is very territorial. In his mind, it's his channel. He owns it. He runs it. He makes the decisions. His decisions are final. He is the boss. He acts like a dictator in running his channel. I don't mean this in a bad way. As I said, I don't think anyone had evil motives in this drama, and I don't think being authoritarian is an inherently bad thing in all circumstances. When I call Dan a dictator, that is not an accusation, it is a descriptor. An accusation is inherently negative, while a descriptor is neutral. Me calling Dan a dictator doesn't carry the same meaning as when I call Donald Trump a dictator. That said, Dan runs his channel like his personal dictatorship. This makes a pretty good case for Se valuing and Se stronger than 1d. So, 1d Fi means either Fi suggestive or Fi PoLR and Se valuing means it's been narrowed down to either SLE or LIE. With that in mind, looking at the way he deals with Fe makes the choice between SLE or LIE very obvious. Dan controls his emotions well in his response videos. He comes off as calm, and not overly dramatic. Controlling his emotions wouldn't be hard with 2d Fe, but I think his choice to be subdued in his expressions makes unvalued Fe way more likely. He recognizes the need to give off a good appearance and control his image, but he doesn't see any value in Fe beyond that. He rarely makes emotionally charged arguments or appeals (the only one I recall is the whole "now those videos will never see the light of day" which is an emotional appeal that comes across to me as forced and unnatural). He is cold and factual and logical in his defense. It's clear he simply isn't interested in the emotional side of things and is much more comfortable with the facts and business side of the drama. An Fe mobilizing type (ie. SLE) would be much more inclined to make emotional appeals and to get worked up and push their emotions onto the world while Dan shows no interest in that. He wants to control his emotions and avoid creating an emotional atmosphere. All of this together makes me pretty certain that Dan is LIE. One thing that gave me pause was his whole distinction between "orginals" and the others, as hierarchies like that are usually more of a Beta thing while Gammas are more individualist and meritocratic, however, I think Fe role makes way more sense than Fe mobilizing given his response, so I'm still very confident in LIE over SLE. Also, while I typically try to avoid using "vibe" when typing, Dan's demeanor just doesn't seem like an SLE. I don't see ExxP temperament at all. Also, I know this is a Socionics post but everything I mentioned honestly makes ENFJ typing for Dan impossible to believe.
