Personalidade

"Que tipo de personalidade é Allen Walker? Allen Walker é um tipo de personalidade INFP em mbti, 1w9 - so/sx - 946 em enneagram, RCUAI em Big 5, EII em sociônicos."

I’m not a native English speaker, so I apologize for my possible grammar mistakes in advance. I found that some people voting INFJ because Allen is kind-hearted and cares about others even more than himself, that’s a kind of huge stereotype, seemed to imply INFPs would always to be wallow in self-pity and be selfish. INFPs can absolutely care others and are willing to sacrifice themselves once the decision match their own morals. Basically, Fi users’ internal personal morals can have some overlap with external social values (Fe). This kind of situation is obvious in Allen. When facing humans, Allen always wants to protect them, take care of their emotions, and try to be a nice person. But when it comes to Akuma, Allen never thinks them as hateful as what other people do. Instead, he pities them and wants to save them. In the 185th episode, his morality even gets blamed by Marie, who said something like “Sticking to such a fighting method will make you painful in an environment where most of the people hate Akuma”. Taking another example, in the 14th episode, He said something like “I wanted to help people because I have lost someone important long time ago, I know how it feels and I do not want to see such tragedy happens again.” He tried to understand other people’s feeling based on his own feeling and morality. This is what a high Fi user would do. One more example, in the 123th episode, in Noah’s Ark, Allen said to Lavi that “Tyki’s friends must be waiting for him to come back home.” He made such conclusion because he knew the feeling of waiting for friends to go back home together. Once again, we can see him make a comparison based on his own feeling. And not killing Tyki also shows that he has always been sticking to his own morality “saving both human and Akuma”, always doing what is right to him, even other people cannot understand his decision. That’s definitely not Fe. And I think the boy is in some kind of Fi-Si loop at the beginning of the story. Maybe in this way, we can barely see Ne in Allen. He is extremely immersed in his past time spending with Mana. Turning his stepfather into a Akuma by accident makes him blame himself and feel guilty all the time. So he has been always reminiscing about the Mana’s sentence that “keep going, don’t stop” (something like that, I’m not translating accurately), maybe he thinks follow Mana’s words can somehow relieve guilt. As a result, Allen becomes stubborn of his beliefs and missions, which is “saving Akuma and being an exorcist.“ His mind does not open to other possibilities and options, which may look like Ni to some extent, I guess. Again in the 185th episode, Allen said that he“ won’t give up his fighting method unless he forgets Mana”, so from my point of view, he is still in his Fi-Si loop by that time. From my own perspective, INFJs cares much about the harmony. But in the manga, Allen battled with his friends several times, Kanda, Lenalee, and Chaoji, because he wants to stick to his own principle. He even almost collided with Lavi in the 23rd episode. He stated that “I did not come to the Order to kill people” and just left. “Not killing enemies” also becomes one of his values which he follows all the time. Obviously, Allen is unafraid of conflict at all and is consistent with his own principles, even at the expense of irritating others. So, I’m just wondering how can him be Ni-Fe given these cases? The whole story is about Allen dealing with who he is, what he wants, and where he really belongs to. He becomes an exorcist to save demons, but during the process, he keeps trying to understand his feelings (by himself or with the aid of his friends) and found that he would save both demons and humans from the bottom of his heart in the 83th episode. And he also keeps figuring out his place and identity, like between exorcist and Noah, which side to take. Fi users build up their internal morals through their experiences and keeps referring to them, while Fe users usually do things that make everyone else feels right while suppress their personal feelings. What Allen goes through is a clear description of Fi to me. I’m open to any discussion and please correct me if I made mistakes. But I really hope some INFJ voters can stop the stereotypes. PLEASE don't just base personality on characters' behaviours, look at their cognitive process.
