Explaining why Claudia is an ES type and not ET. The extroverted attitude is that of a "thick-skinned" person. There's an extensive adjustment to the objective that causes the extroverted to lose themselves to the environment and gets caught up in it. The most general things will be regarded as the truly valid and everything will be reduced to that. Claudia clearly fits the case of extroversion since she is lead by the object and the relation of the subject with the outside world. Since we have identified which priori she resides with we can then determine her dominant function. The ENTJ leads with Te. Te's intellect feeds on the object which is measured by external criteria, such as laws, morals, dogma, principles, etc. It forms intellectual judgments through the external object that governs all actions and leads to the formulation of laws, that everyone is to obey--akin to intellectual tyranny. Claudia is not lead by an object measured through external criteria. She is "direct and confrontational" as others say, however, these qualities are not strictly exhibited by the ET type, however, it does point to an extroverted type which is not limited to a thinker. Neither does Claudia make intellectual judgements, Claudia has no care for the intellectual, that is too pedantic for her present-focused and earth-bound character. In the film, Claudia has the constant desire to explore the outside world accurately through her lens of a vampire and not the perception of a little girl that others see her to be. She is forced to go out into the world as a person that she is not, against the nature of what she now is. Behind closed doors she is volatile, she is vocal in her views that as the creature she has become she should be interacting to the world in the manner of such a beast. It is an external fact that she is a feared vampire that feeds on humans. She knows what she is and does not wish to change this for it is "the way it should be done". This is all representative of Se which is the leading function of ESFP.
