I just knew this guy was an ISFP 4w3 from the moment I saw him. Guys, come on. INFJ? I see the vision, since he has this "I must build a name for myself" mind, but we must focus on his second function, and what Feeling function we're dealing with. Fi > Fe His goals, everything he does, is purely out of his own heart's need. The embodiment of Fi. He always sees what he does as "right" or "needed", and doesn't reflect about them. His emotions are a mess, mainly because he's mentally unstable. He loves Andrew, but he also loves the idea of building himself a name. He neglects Andrew because he sees Andrew as a tool to reach his goal, which is a very, very unhealthy kind of love. He only starts feeling bad when he loses Andrew, when everything he wanted is crumbling; he never changes, and only goes after Andrew (at least in his mind) because he NEEDED Andrew. He also tries to defend his actions using his father's death or other things to pity himself. (also, uhhh, edited part:) Stress grip Te > Se Ivan naturally uses Se, not Fe (aka, auxiliary is Se, not Fe). Under stress, like in the arguments, he turns more cold and more controlling, which is an unhealthy Te usage. I don't really have much arguments for this part, but it's more proof that he's not an Intuitive type. At all. And that's one of the many unhealthy ISFPs 4w3 I've seen. Y'know what that reminds me of? Jimmy, from Mouthwashing. Another ISFP 4w3 who sees everything he does as "right", refuses to see past his actions, and only drowns in regret later, just to then get up and play the "Hero" at the end. Even then, he doesn't really change, ever. Both have a passive, Phlegmatic type 9 best friends that can tank whatever BS they throw at them (except Andrew sees through Ivan's mentally unwell behavior and leaves; Curly is damaged beyond repair still defending Jimmy, and only realizes it when it's too late.) His focus and obsession on building himself a name comes from the fact he NEEDS an image. That's 4w3; the 4's drive for expression, identity, and 3's drive for acknowledgement, image, ambition. 4w3 are, easily, the most interesting types. I love them, especially when they're healthy; Ivan, whoever, is not healthy. Not even close. Anyway, I could've gotten the whole argument wrong; I'm very mentally disorganized and probably forgot an argument or two... Still, I'm THE guy who grabs the canon and squeezes every information out of them. And Ivan, definitely, is not an INFJ. I rest my case!!
