honestly i think emma should be one of the poster children for SO2. her primary flaw lies in her assumption that she knows how to interpret other people's feelings and that she knows what's best for them, while totally missing those people's clear motivations and actions happening right in front of her (mr. elton's status-seeking, frank & jane's secret engagement, etc)—things she could have easily noticed had she paid attention to them rather than her own presumptions. she's a really good example of the SO2's savior complex and extreme levels of pride. love her though <3
